Kids Make Mother’s Day Presents

The Funky Banana, Inc. will be hosting a “Kid’s Day Out” event. The event will feature 30-minute appointments for children to create Mother’s Day gifts.

Four graphic artists will donate their time for a one-on-one experience with the children to create a special gift that is uniquely theirs.

The event will take appointments for Sunday afternoon, April 22 and all day Monday, April 23 in 30-minute time slots. If these two days fill up, there will be a second weekend scheduled on May 6 & 7. Appointments will be taken on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The cost of participation is $30 per child. The child will come home with a t-shirt uniquely decorated for a mother’s day present. If you desire additional t-shirts of the same design the cost will be $15 each. ALL proceeds go directly to Relay for Life 2007. For an additional $8 donation, the child will receive their very own “Kid’s Day Out” t-shirt.

Visit The Funky Banana to schedule your appointment. Forms with necessary information must accompany the request, along with pre-payments to secure time slots. Forms can be picked up at The Funky Banana, Verizon Wireless, Cato, or China King.
